Mounting the Ruby Controller |
|
Avoid gluing or attaching velcro / adhesive to the covers of Ruby. The covers tend to rip off and velcro tends to give a spongy attachment that doesn't stay aligned with the plane's axes.
When possible, simply wedge it in place in the payload area with a block of epp foam cut to just the right size.
Or, maybe hot-glue two blocks of EPP to the floor of the payload area close together so that they can hold Ruby snugly.
Or, what may be the ultimate solution: I recently discovered the following approach and it worked well even in a high vibration gas plane. It tidied up the cabling to boot.
